What's New at DPC:

Janice was the guest speaker for S.T.R.I.D.E.  the Ocala Dressage GMO of The United States Dressage Federation. See the photos of Janice teaching her Pilates Boot Camp in Ocala, FL.

Janice has written two new articles that have either recently been published or are about to be published. One is the back full page article in the January issue of Dressage Today, the premier publication for dressage in the US. Called "Solutions," Janice succinctly describes how to use the Pilates box to help ride correctly. The other article, called "An Exercise in Long and Low and Deep and Round," will appear in the Jan. 22 issue of My Horse Daily, an online magazine.

Guest Teachers in January 2013

To help keep away the winter blahs......please welcome two guest teachers in January: Melissa Flores, Level 4 instructor from St. Louis, and Jamie Trout, Level 3 instructor from Atlanta. Stay tuned for dates and schedules!

Melissa Flores Jamie Trout

Melissa FloresMelissa Flores, level 4 instructor, was a soloist with the Dance Company of St. Charles. When her triplets entered kindergarten she discovered Pilates and quickly she realized this was her lifetime passion. She completed her certification in Chicago and New York with Romana Kryanowska. She believes that a top notch teacher should continue to study with masters such as Romana, Janice Dulak, Juanita Lopez, Cynthia Lochard, Lori Coleman Brown and Anthony Rabara. She has run the Pilates For Life studio in St. Louis since 2005.

Jamie TroutJamie Trout brings to Pilates her strong background of ballet, a unique beauty of motion, and a sincere talent to instruct. She studied at the prestigious North Carolina School of the Arts and upon graduation joined Ballet Austin. Later she danced for Duende, Atlanta Ballet, Ballet Concerto, and Ballet Theatre of Miami. The discipline and grace Jamie honed in the dance world afforded her to easily transition as she trained and became a certified Pilates Instructor in 1999. Jamie trained directly with Romana Kryzanowska, Joseph Pilates' protege, and continued her training with Sari Mejia Santo as she became a Romana's Pilates® Instructor Trainer.
